Oerlikon HRSflow at Plast Eurasia
Join us at Plast Eurasia, the international plastics industry fair in Istanbul, Turkey, from December 4 to 7. Visit us in Hall 12A, Stand 115A, to explore and experience our latest innovations in hot runner technology firsthand.
Innovative stack mold for enhanced thin-walled packaging injection molding
Especially developed for time, material and energy saving injection moulding of thin-walled packaging, the Oerlikon HRSflow new stack mould system is dedicated to meet the latest requirements of the circular economy. Thanks to its innovative patented design, thought to make the system extremely easy to assemble and maintain, it can be included in plug-and-play solutions that allow to avoid long and costly downtime. The stack principle also allows it to be installed in smaller injection moulding machines and enables flexible use for different applications without compromising performance.
Tailored to excel under high filling pressures, the system features Xd series nozzles engineered for thin wall packaging applications, mounted on a 220 mm hot half plate. This configuration positions the Oerlikon HRSflow stack mould system as an ideal solution for cost-efficient production, upholding the company's unwavering commitment to long-term quality standards. To empower customers, Oerlikon HRSflow offers a demo tool equipped with the stack mould system, enabling thorough testing of polymers, including bio-based and compostable materials. This initiative underscores the company's dedication to advancing sustainable solutions in thin-wall packaging.
Innovative end rings
Discover the new TECHflow HRS, the hot runner solution specifically engineered for technical polymers and electronic applications. This line offers innovative features like external valve gate end rings for Tp and Vp nozzles, and the Through The Cavity (TTC) end ring for Tp nozzles.
These valve gate end rings are optimized for processing engineering polymers such as PA6, PA66, PBT, POM, PPA, and PPS, commonly used in technical components like gears and structural parts for the automotive, electronics, and household appliance industries. These innovations offer enhanced wear resistance for reinforced thermoplastics and allow for easy restarting at lower temperatures.
